On behalf of all of us involved with 1st Englefield Green Scout Group, can I offer our heartfelt thanks for your recent generosity in getting in touch with the Group and offering the use of one of your vans for our camping trip.
Following the theft of our trailer, the cost of hiring a vehicle or replacement trailer was likely to have been prohibitive for a small group such as ours and there was a real chance we would have had to cancel the trip. this would have been such a disappointment for all the boys involved, however with your generosity the Cubs and Scouts enjoyed a terrific weekend.
Having fund raised to purchase the trailer, the theft has hit us hard, both financially and also as a result of the frustration it causes to the leaders and helpers involved with the Group. Everyone works so diligently to raise money to ensure the children are able to enjoy a range of activities; occasionally it takes a gesture such as yours Will to reaffirm our belief that it is worth the effort.
