Hire Information
To hire a vehicle from us it is best, whenever possible, to book in advance, but we will always try out best to assist you for that last minute hire.
Upon booking you will be advised on the documentation you need to provide us.
We require:
• Payment by credit or debit card – STRICTLY NO CASH OR CHEQUES.
• Photo card licenses must be produced WITH the paper counterpart.
• Two additional forms of ID, e.g. utility bills, passport, council tax bill etc must be shown.
• Drivers must be over 21 years old, 25 years old for 7.5 tonne and minibuses.
• You must have passed your test for at least a year for insurance purposes.
The insurance excess and your deposit
£500 – The insurance excess.
£100 – The insurance excess if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken.
The cost of Collision Damage Waiver:
£15 – For each period of 24 hours.
£75 – For each period of one week.
Deposits
A holding deposit of £100 if CDW is taken, if not the deposit required is £500.
Late Returns
All vehicles (apart from Buses and Lorries)
• Up to 1 Hour – Free of charge (with prior arrangement)
• 1-4 hours – £20.00 + VAT = £23.50
• Over 4 hours – Extra days rental
Buses and Lorries
• Up to 1 Hour – Free of charge (with prior arrangement)
• 1-4 hours – £40.00 + VAT = £47.00
• Over 4 hours – Extra days rental
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Valeting
Exterior cleaning is included as part of the hire charge.
£50 Major interior cleaning will be charged – please leave the van as you find it.
£50 Disposal of contents – in
addition to any costs incurred at our local amenity waste site.
Fuel
Please refuel the vehicle to the level of fuel in the tank at the time your hire started or there will be a
refuelling charge of £10.00 plus the cost of the fuel.
The fuel level is indicated on your check sheet.
Strictly NO refunds will be given for returning the vehicle with more fuel than collected.
Additional drivers – £7.50 per day
DVLA check – £15
STRICTLY NO VEHICLES CAN BE RETURNED OR LEFT OUTSIDE OUR PREMISES OUTSIDE WORKING HOURS.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF DEPOSIT.
